WebScreed is a specialist mix of concrete that is laid as a thin layer over a concrete floor base, creating a smooth and level layer. After screed has set or cured, the surface will be ready to have the final layer added to complete the concrete floor. A few examples are Wooden Floorboards, Carpet, Tiles or even Resin. What is screed made of? WebIn ideal conditions, the slab will harden sufficiently to allow further works to be carried out within 3 days. We would recommend however that the floor is protected from traffic with boards during the first few weeks of curing. These boards should be lifted when not in use (weekends and overnight) to allow the floor to dry.
