WebSep 27, 2014 · It's not the ideal vertical grip, nor is it the ideal bipod. It's a compromise and I don't like to compromise. I'll grab a stubby to go with my atlas bipod if I decide I can't do without it. I've found that I prefer to grip the end of the shroud now that I've extended mine so I no longer need a vertical grip.
